The courses will also cover leveraging LinkedIn as a networking tool for professional connections.

​Step three of our program includes a 160 - 200 hour hands-on practicum experience in the workforce. Your practicum placement will be at a registered canadian business. During your work term you will observe and document what it is like to work in the field.

This experiential learning experience allows you to learn while working. Network with professionals, enhance your resume with practical skills, and work on your professional communication skills. You will gain hands-on experience and learn new skills by work placement.
Our program's practicum course is a vital step in bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world application. Spanning 160-200 hrs, this hands-on experience places students in open positions within their chosen field. This allows them to apply their classroom knowledge in a practical setting.
This experience improves technical skills, workplace understanding, relationships, and confidence for participants. By working alongside experienced professionals, students can gain insights into industry standards. They will learn best practices, and be prepared for their career path.

Heart and Stroke BLS Certification
Heart and Stroke BLS is the preferred certification accepted in hospitals and long-term care places. It is required of all healthcare professionals.
